  1. I find myself coming back to examine the towel when all it seems I’ve done is look after my kids and clean the house (again). But God is in those days more than I ever see while I’m in the middle of it all.
It is an act of service and an excercise in worship if my heart is in the right place.
I will be asking myself “Who does God say I am?” when frustration comes knocking.
    Thanks, Jim.

  2. Not sure if you will ever see this, but i wonder at the story of Cain and Able. Could the motive of Cain been his looking for attention? Yea, God just cursed the ground and Cain brought the offering from the fruit of a cursed ground, yea, Able brought the First fruits and Cain brought his offering. Much to gleen from any and all of scripture, but, could it come to the fact that WE all want attention no matter what it cost our Brother.

    Forever your brother
    In Christ

  3. I never thought of it that way. In essence, he broke the tenth commandment regarding coveting. He coveted the attention his brother received. Yes, lots to glean. Miles Munroe said everything we need to know to live for God can be found in the first two chapters of Genesis. All the rest of Scripture is commentary. He may very well be right!
